From the time Autumn started talking, there's one thing we've especially been wanting to hear. "I love you." She finally said it tonight at dinner. First it was I love you dada, then it was I love you mommy, then it was I love you Charlee and finally, I love you Elmo. Now, everytime Jason tries to get Autumn to say I love you mommy, she'll say I love you, pause, dada. I know she's teasing me. She also now says I miss you Grandma. We don't have to prompt her to say please and thank you anymore either but sometimes you'll get a "you're welcome" instead of a thank you.
When Autumn finishes a puzzle, she tells herself "good job". I don't think we have to worry about her confidence right now.
