It's hard to believe that my infant will be a toddler in just two short months! She is growing so much every week. This week my baby turned 10 months old. Here are some of her characteristics as observed by me.
Charlee loves to dance! She will sit next to a toy, push buttons so it plays music and wiggle her butt on the ground, bop up and down and wave her arms around, all with a big grin on her face.
She's a biter. One of the things she likes to do is climb up the back of my legs while I'm cooking dinner and bite the back of my thigh. She thinks this is hilarious. She also loves to climb up on the dishwasher when it's open and splash around in the little bit of water that's on the lid.
She is now eating all three meals with us in her high chair. She usually eats at least part of what we're eating unless it's eggs, peanut butter and jelly or shellfish. She's down to nursing about 5 times a day not counting if she needs one during the middle of the night. She loves string cheese, avocado and tomatoes! All things Autumn hated.
Charlee still wakes up a few times a night and always needs help getting back to sleep. The first few times she wakes up, I usually just rock her back to sleep but if she wakes up again and it hasn't been more than an hour, she get a quick nurse and falls back to sleep. Otherwise she usually goes until about 4 am without a feeding. We're currently trying to help her go longer without thinking she needs to eat.
