Autumn's swimming lessons

Autumn started swimming lessons today. The summer sessions run two weeks and are every night Monday-Thursday at 6:30 so our evenings are pretty busy. Jason gets home, we eat dinner and we rush off to swimming lessons. When we get home, we try to cram our normally 1 1/2 hour bedtime routine into about 45 minutes.

Autumn is in a Parent/Child class which means all the kids are in the water with a parent at all times. This is the only way you can take lessons if you are under 3. Once Autumn turns 3 she can go into the Preschool class on her own. Her classes focus on getting little ones used to being in water, developing their confidence in the water, breathing, floating, kicking and how to get onto their backs if they're in a life jacket. The kids in Autumn's class range in age from less than a year to almost 4 years old.
