Charlee is one happy baby! I continue to hear people tell me all the time how happy she is. She really only cries when she's hungry or tired...and it's usually tired.
She took her first step yesterday. The day before she turned 11 months old. She loves to push the shopping cart around the playroom but sometimes it gets going a little too fast for her and she loses interest. She is a climber and has already proved that she needs to be seat belted into her high chair because she can climb out.
Her sleeping is not ideal. She goes to bed at the same time as Autumn, around 8:00 but it takes her much longer to fall asleep. She wakes up several times during the night but falls back to sleep easily by being rocked. Sometimes she nurses but falls asleep after a couple of minutes. She still takes her two naps around 9:00 am and 1:00 pm but lately she has been waking up after only 30-45 minutes of her morning nap.
She's a snuggler and is content just to be held. Her favorite time of day is when she gets to take a bath with Autumn right after dinner. It's hard to get her out of the tub because she is enjoying herself so much!
She is so pleased with herself when she stands on her own, especially when she sees our excitement.
