We had a Cinco de Mayo playdate at a friend's house complete with a real pinata. Rather than half a dozen 2 year olds swinging a club at the thing, there was a trap door and all the kids pulled a string to release the bottom. Autumn horded as much candy and goodies as she could get her hands on and of course assessed the loot afterwards. She made out pretty well :)
