After dinner and bath, Jason and Autumn read their stories together usually for about an hour but less if we took longer to eat or take a bath. During story time, Autumn gets dessert which is usually either some banana, cantaloupe, grapes or some other fruit. I try to make it new and exciting and not be the same thing she had with breakfast or lunch. She's sort of funny in that she loves one fruit one week and can't get enough of it so I allocate half the grocery budget to that fruit the following week only to have her turn her nose up at it. Tonight's dessert consisted of strawberries. Here she is trying to have daddy "test" one just to make sure it's ok.
