We love our annual family tradition of going to Trinity Tree Farm and picking out our Christmas tree to chop down and take home to decorate.
This year, we decided to go early and get it done the first weekend of December. We couldn't have picked a more perfect day to be doing something outside.
It was a little on the cold side but Autumn and Charlee didn't seem to mind.
We grabbed a saw and headed out into the fields of Douglas Firs. They didn't look so great this year but we think we found a tree with a lot of love to give.
Autumn had a prime spot for picking out the perfect tree.
When it was decided which one was coming home with us, we decided to take a family picture in front of our tree before we chopped it down. Autumn was the "tester".

Charlee going to look at the other trees.

After we cut the tree down, we rode the train around the farm. This was Autumn and Charlee's favorite part.
